What a long night

The look for the night
The next morning...feeling better.

We had a bit of a long night. Cara woke up absolutly screaming in the middle of the night. I went and checked on her and she just would not be consoled. She had had a major diaper rash all day, so I decided to give her a short bath and let her just air out on my bed for awhile. That did nothing. She screamed the whole way through. She was content to have her face inches from mine, and that was it. I saw that one of her teeth up top had broken through. I am thinking this was the problem. I swabbed her with orejel and gave her a shot of tylenol and let her cuddle with me. She defentily takes after my mother and me. She is a wiggly little worm when she sleeps! She woke up a couple of times wimpering in the night. She has two other teeth that are trying to come through as well. Poor little bug. Her diaper rash is a little better this morning which I am so thankful for. She is still not quite normal, but she at least took her nap in her own bed. I'm thinking tonight won't be horrid.

Up Early

Well, the little bug woke up really early this morning. I'm not exactly sure why, but hopefully it won't become a habit! She is getting 3 new little teeth, so maybe that's the culprit. We finally got her 6 month appontment scheduled!! It's on Tuesday. I am so excited to see her stats. I will defenitly update!

New jammies

These are Cara's new thermals. They are just so cute!

Her eyes are so pretty

Just hanging out

Hiding in the pillows on my bed.
A new shirt from Erica.
Hanging out with Rose, the teddy bear Grandpa Jack and Grandma Donna made her.

Tons of Smiles!

Cara had no problem smiling at me today! She was in such a great mood when she woke up. She is forever rolling off of her blanket. I now have to make sure I keep the floor swept all the time, as she picks up dust balls and eats them. She likes to think she can crawl already....it hasn't quite happened yet, but I do think we are super close. Right now, as I type, she is licking the floor. Nice.

No too many smiles for Momma

Well, we seem to be having a rough week. She's adjusting to NOT being on vacation. This means she can't just eat off of anybody's plate, she can't just drink out of anybody's glass, she has to eat her bottle, and I'm not just going to hold her all the time. Wow, a lot of lessons to learn! She really likes hanging out with her daddy right now. I did manage to coax one smile out of her. She can't resist the raspberry sound coming out of someone elses mouth!

My Tree

My tree had a growth spurt! I will be so sad to leave it behind when we move back to the states

:(

My girl and her bibs

I just love overalls. They never have anything like this at our bx. Blake likes Cara to look girly, where I think the cute conductor bibs are so super cute! Well, they actually had these the other day. I bought them on the spot. They are still a little long on her, but she will grow into them. I think she looks so adorable (granted, I pretty much always think she looks adorable...).

Prague-part 2

These pics are from my friend Kimberly's camera.

This was our hotel

Inside of the cathedral
At a mexican restaurant...Cara thought she wanted my glass of water...She was wrong!
There were spiders everywhere! This was just one lightpost.

We got to see fireworks. It was awesome!
Cara's meal on the way home. She loved it!
Her bright blue eyes

Prague

We had such a wonderful time in Prague. It is located in the beautiful Czech Republic. We saw so many beautiful buildings including the palace. We saw the huge astronomical clock and the Hard Rock Cafe. Funny fact, the resturaunt was not yet built, so it was just the store. It was still cool, though. We ended up getting rooms at the Best Western because of overbooking at our hotel. That was pretty nice. We saw the St. Charles bridge during the day and at night. It was fabulous. I am glad we went! It is a nice memory to have.

an alter made of silver..I would hate to have to polish it!

There were some awesome statues

This was our HUGE bed at the hotel. Cara loved it!

Good King Wenceslas was from Prague.

Some interesting scenery on the way home.
Our 5 hour drive home turned into an 8 hour drive home...traffic jams and accidents.
The baby did finally sleep..here's the proof!

All in all it was a great trip. We went with our friends Kimberly and Jason. Cara did fantastic. I was surprised. Our trip home was loooong, but we eventually made it safe and sound. I can't wait to see where our travels will take us next!
