Our FABULOUS hotel! Blake went all out :)

He got us tickets to the Phantom of the Opera....front row seats!

We weren't allowed to take pictures during the show. But it was absolutly amazing!

Central Park :) I had no clue there was a lake in the middle of it.

Here we are, eating hotdogs in Central Park. I was pretty sure the hotdog would be gross becuase Blake ordered it with everything but onions on it. This included sauerkrout. Yuck!!! Amazingly, though, it was delicious!!! I loved it :)
 The Empire State Building
I loved this picture that shows how tall the building is :)
 View from the top

Huh...this is out of order. This is the entrance to Central Park
We took a ferry ride around the river. It had rained all day, but thankfully, the rain stopped for the 90 minute ferry ride :)

 The Brooklyn Bridge

The Statue of Liberty. We would have love to go to the island, but the statue is undergowing a year long renovation, so we wouldn't have been able to go inside. It was amazing to see it from the ferry, though!

These are the new Twin Towers.
Grand Central Station. The pictures don't show it very well (we got a new camera and were trying to figure it out!)

 Some interesting buildings

This is in the wrong order as well. It's the Museum of Natural History

The main entrance to the Museum of Natural History
A minature of ancient China :)
 Can you see Aladdin flying??

 Crazy skeletons!

The cool ocean part of the museum

Rex! from Night at the Museum :)

A different exit to the museum :)
We spent a good 3 1/2 hours in this museum....could have spent all day!!!
 Metropolitan Museum of Art

These are all different carved beetles. They looked cool!

After walking 40 blocks to one museum, spending 3 1/2 hours there and walking across Central Park, we ended up only spending about 2 1/2 hours in the Metropolitan Museum. Then we had the long 40 block trek back to the hotel. My feet HURT after that!!!!
 The streets of New York
 Rockefeller Center
 The Rockefeller Building
Times Square, at 10:30pm. It was packed!

I have a few more pictures, and I didn't put up all the ones I had, because that would have made waaaay too long of a blog :) We had the most wonderful time. I thought New York would be scary, but it wasn't. There were definetly a TON of people. All the time. But it was cool. Once you figured out the crosswalks and what not, it wasn't scary at all. I am so glad I didn't have to drive there, though!!! The drivers are totally like you see in the movies. They drive super fast and use their horns for everything!!!! It was all so cool, though. I am so thankful to my awesome hubby for setting it all up. Happy tenth anniversary to us!
